A native of Atlanta, GA, Lindsay is a second-generation graduate of Howard University. It’s there she began her career in radio and production with public relations company In the Public Eye, Inc. enjoying internships with the Institute for Policy Study, XM radio station WOL, and the Pacifica Network station WPFW. After graduating Cum Laude in 2004 with a major in Film and a minor in Sociology, she went on to work at V-103 in Atlanta in the radio research department. In 2006, she attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting graduating at the top of her class. Lindsay interned at Stankonia Recording and began her television career at Atlanta Interfaith Broadcasters. After two years, she was nominated for an Emmy®, promoted to producer and produced programming for teens and young adults. As a result of being a producer for nearly five years, she is experienced in developing and producing a wide variety of programming including: news, health & wellness, short-form documentary, children’s & children’s fitness, teen & young adult, interstitials, promotions, PSAs and corporate spots. In addition, she has extensive and varied on-camera and voice-over talent experience. The GreenGoingForward platform is her flagship global initiative. In 2016, Lindsay recently completed a dual degree international MBA program with Georgia State University and the Paris-Sorbonne University, during which she studied in Brazil, China, Belgium, and France. As a requirement of the program, she completed a graduate fellowship with the Mayor Kasim Reed’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, City of Atlanta. Lindsay worked directly on communications strategy, community engagement and immigrant owned business marketing with the Atlanta Streetcar. She used her evaluations of the offices resources, research findings, and ecosystem mapping to successfully defend her MBA thesis.
